Wonderful Wednesday
Still cool by San Angelo standards, Wednesday presented a breezy window of opportunity in west Texas.
Charles attempted to visit the indian pictographs at Paint Rock, TX (45 minutes east of San Angelo) but he didn't realized the site was closed for the winter.
So rather than repeating yesterday's driving through west Texas, Charles went driving in a different direction, back to Quicksand Golf Course and another challenging round in the windy conditions. He saw more armadillos and successfuly played the difficult course in good order.
After that, Charles went to visit the San Angelo Nature Center. This is a lovely facility dedicated to the wildlife of the Concho Valley and the rest of west Texas.
Belinda and her mother completed most of the tasks on the "to-do" list and have the apartment in good shape.
Tomorrow we head back to Nebraska and say farewell to our Texas sojourn.
