Today in Pagosa Springs, CO

We enjoyed going to church this morning with the Hammitt's at Forest Ridge Community Church (www.forestridgechurch.org/) which meets in Kyle's middle school. It was great to be able to spend this time with them and though we were sorry to say goodbye, we know that we'll be back!

We set off on the next leg of our journey, heading south towards Peublo before turning west where we enjoyed a marvelous experience at The Great Sand Dunes National Park (www.nps.gov/grsa/) This was a real treat and well worth the effort to get there. On the way to the Park, we stopped in the shadow of Mt. Blanca (www.sangres.com/mountains/mtblanca.htm) , one of the mountains in Colorado that is over 14,000 feet tall!

An interesting drive through the mountains brought us through Wolf Creek Pass, elevation over 10,000 feet. Belinda was so happy that Charles was driving! We ended our day in Pagosa Springs (www.pagosa.com) in southwest Colorado. We found a hotel next to the hot springs where Charles is going to test the waters in the morning! Pictures to follow!!!

More to follow tomorrow from New Mexico!
