Thursday was devoted to Charles' dental work at the base clinic. A tooth had to be removed and he returned on Friday to have the temporary replacement put in. We found out they can't do the permanent work before Charles is scheduled to be out of the Navy so we'll have to deal with this through the VA in Nebraska. At least it happened here where we were able to save a lot of money and not on the road where we'd have to figure things out in a strange town.
Belinda has been the best nurse, taking care of Charles' needs! She did get a break from her caretaker role and went to the Applebees on base Thursday night for a yummy dinner!
As it stands now we're leaving Saturday for Lake Junaluska, NC for three days and then to Nebraska. Keep your fingers crossed that Charles' tooth stays where it was glued until we can get something permanently done!
