Today was a nice day, intermitent rain which made the sunshine all that much more joyful! I went to church at Calvary UMC in Lincoln which was a wonderful experience! Afterwards I went with the pastor and his wife and another couple to a neat authentic Mexican restaurant (and I mean AUTHENTIC!).
I did have some time before picking up David (a fellow attendee at this retreat), so I drove around Lincoln looking at churches! There are some really neat looking places in the capital city!
We drove up to Schuyler, got checked in and have already had our first covenant group meeting. After the Communion service at 2115, we go into the "Great Silence" until tomorrow morning's prayer service! What a treat!
