We came to a fork in the road today with Charles and Belinda setting off on divergent paths for the next two weeks.
This morning, Belinda was taken by Charles to the Kansas City airport and flew to San Antonio, Texas where she will be spending the next two weeks with her mother, Sheila Hammitt. A full schedule is planned with this being the time when Fiesta is held each year in San Antonio. Belinda and her mother, known as "Mo," also have lots of visiting with friends planned as well as some much-needed rest for Belinda after all of this driving around the country!
Charles, after taking Belinda to the airport, continued north to Nebraska, where first he visited with fellow-pastor, Jamie, in Lincoln. Tomorrow, Charles will be going to church at Calvary UMC and then giving a ride to a member from that church to the retreat that is being held at the St. Benedict Center in Schuyler, NE. After his retreat, Charles will go on to visit family in Missouri and Florida before meeting up with Belinda in Ohio.
