Back in Lincoln!

Hard to believe, but we are back in Lincoln, NE, ready for the coming Nebraska Annual Conference session (of NE's UMC).

We went to church this morning in Ogallala, NE at the UMC there and enjoyed the fellowship very much. It really was a chance to get ourselves centered before the busy week that lay before us. Following that, we continued east on I-80, bound for Lincoln!

Along the way, as we approached North Platte, we noticed a sign for the Buffalo Bill Ranch (www.byways.org/explore/byways/16472/places/32281). Since we had visited several sites associated with this famous showman on our trip, we thought it fitting to take in one more before it was all said and done. The home is a delightful example of Buffalo Bill's taste and expansive travels and was a real treat to see in person.

Then it was back on the road for the final push into the capitol city of Nebraska - Lincoln. We arrived, got settled into a hotel for the next two nights (before moving into the conference's hotel location), and then enjoyed the peace that comes from a journey nearly completed.

Stay tuned this week for news from the Annual Conference sessions!
