Monday in Lincoln

We rested bit today, after the long drives of the past two days. We needed to! There were a few errands to run this morning and evening, which we were able to complete with all the amenities of the big city available to us.

In the middle of the afternoon, we went to the Cornhusker Hotel, site of the Annual Conference sessions, to help out with the assembly of packets of materials for the conference attendees. We had a great time, the fellowship of the volunteers was terrific, and the work was done in quick order.

Having a simple day was a treat in itself. The next few days will be full of meetings and conference activities, so it was nice to be able to take it slowly for a change.

Tomorrow, the fun begins!
