Here it is - Tuesday and the the clock is ticking for the beginning of our new life in Sidney! We are laying low just now, the heat that is covering the west makes doing much of anything outdoors in the afternoons just downright unpleasant!
This morning we took advantage of this time to rest to arrange for the delivery of our household goods and to make a few other necessary calls. Belinda enjoyed the quiet of the hotel, working on Parsonage Connection items and re-charging her batteries.
Charles in the meanwhile couldn't resist the opportunity for one more excursion. He found an incredible park southwest of Cheyene that offered trail rides. Thinking that knowing how to ride a horse might be a useful skill to have in western Nebraska, he went for a two hour ride (on a beautiful mare named "Komodo"). Belinda was certainly glad that he had gone on the ride without her, riding for two hours on a horse isn't exactly her cup of tea!!!!
Tomorrow we handle some appointments in Cheyene before heading east one more time!
