Friday night in Sidney

Here we are, one week after moving into the parsonage in Sidney and we're able to say that we've made major strides towards reducing that initial mountain of boxes! We

The morning was spent driving to Cheyene, WY where Charles had more appointments with the VA. It is sure nice to have access to that facility, the folks couldn't be more accomodating. Charles is now in the system and will be able to see someone locally for most VA issues and needs.

We came back to Sidney via Kimball and Potter, stopping to take care of errands to enjoy the hospitality of those communities. We met with Ken McMillan, chairman of the Pastor-Parish Relations Committee (PPRC) this afternoon. Ken wanted to introduce Charles to the congregation at both services this coming Sunday and wanted to be sure what to say about us! We had a lovely chat and then it was back to the boxes!

Charles is pleased with the way his church office is coming along. All but two boxes have been emptied and everything except the pictures on the walls have been accounted for. It looks really comfortable and we are hoping that the congregation will feel welcomed in their pastor's office. The same goes for the parsonage. We are slowly getting things where they need to be and hope to have things wrapped up in the not-to-distant future!!

An exciting Saturday awaits, lots of details to attend to in order to get ready for Sunday!!!!
