Today's weather is the sort of weather that people move to Colorado to experience. We took advantage of it by venturing out and taking the Cog Train to the top of Pike's Peak!
We arrived at the train station in Manitou Springs, located at the base of the mountain, and took our seats for the ride to the top of the 14,110 foot tall mountain! The Cog Train (http://www.cograilway.coom/) is really cool and takes nearly 1.5 hours to reach the top. Along the way the views are spectacular with Colorado Springs, the Garden of the Gods and Kansas all within sight.
Upon reaching the top, we took some pictures, and enjoyed the views and the snow that still covers the top of Pike's Peak. Although it was 29 F at the top, it didn't feel that cold.
Tomorrow looks to be rainy again, so who knows what we'll end up doing!
